Improved Ringing Archive

James Kerslake has relaunched his archive of competition results and call change compositions at the new web address https://devon-ringing-archive.co.uk.

The site now boasts results from winter leagues and novice type competitions as well as all the competitions formely held, including results that were published on former versions of the Association’s website that aren’t available any more. Results pages now have additional stats and details where possible, such as the date the competition was held, the judges, and the peal numbers

There’s also bigger composition library of over 60 peals, including the usual competition peals on six and eight, all the compositions used as part of the celebration day (the Stannary, Sixty on Tittums and the three five bell peals) and the Centenary peal composed by Andrew Vincent. Visitors to the site can view the changes on the webpage or download them as a pdf file so they can be printed; the changes can even displayed for people who call changes down rather than the usual Devon style of calling them up.

As a further improvement, the site now more mobile browser friendly making it easier to use when you’re on the go. More features are due in future, including a return of the records and stats pages.

Please update any bookmarks you have for James’s old site to devon-ringing-archive.co.uk, as the old site will no longer be maintained.

As always, if you can help provide any missing details or have results for events not in the archive please contact James via the email webmaster[at]myconid[dot]co[dot]uk, any more information is gratefully received!
