In addition to qualifying teams competing in the Minor Final, an Intermediate competition is to be held on the same day at the same venue.
Results from the Minor Final will be given at the conclusion of the competition and before the draw for the Intermediate competition. Tea will also be served at this half-way point in the day. It is not expected that teams competing in the Minor Final will be taking part in the Intermediate competition.
The Intermediate competition is to encourage teams to take part in a competition environment and be judged with some constructive comments. Entries are open to any team that feels they are at an intermediate level, including those that entered our Novice Competition earlier this year and 8-bell towers.
A rise, peal, and lower will be rung by all competing teams. As well as an overall total, the judges will give three separate marks for the different sections of the peal. Entries will be limited to 8 teams.

Certificates will be awarded to all competing teams. Teams will be expected to enter with the spirit of the competition and to encourage the continuing growth of the DAR.
