{"id":5192,"date":"2024-08-22T08:45:22","date_gmt":"2024-08-22T07:45:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.devonbells.co.uk\/?p=5192"},"modified":"2024-08-22T08:45:24","modified_gmt":"2024-08-22T07:45:24","slug":"funeral-arrangements-for-julia-endacott-friday-31st-august-2024","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.devonbells.co.uk\/index.php\/funeral-arrangements-for-julia-endacott-friday-31st-august-2024\/","title":{"rendered":"Funeral arrangements for Julia Endacott Friday 31st August 2024"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Jon Bint writes:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I can now confirm further details re ringing for Julia&#8217;s funeral.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Before the service, the bells will be available for <strong>open ringing for the hour between 1pm &amp; 2pm<\/strong>, after which, local ringers will ring.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The peal immediately prior to the Service will be rung by an invited band of ringers who were close to\/trained by Julia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Immediately after the service an invited band of ringers &amp; ringers from towers associated with Julia&#8217;s ringing career will ring a peal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Following the committal, the bells will once again be available for an hour for open ringing<\/strong> (There is a choir practice booked for after that time, as there&#8217;s a wedding here the next day.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The family has requested that the bells be rung open, as opposed to half-muffled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thank you.
