In December 2020 we lost one of our most respected ringers in Alfie Stevens. Due to the pandemic, Alfie`s family, were not able to give him the \u201csend-off\u201d Alfie deserved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The family, in conjunction with the Church, wish to hold a service to celebrate his life on Sunday 27th. November 2022. The service will commence at 11.00 am at St. John the Baptist Church, Bishops Tawton.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We welcome ringers to come and join us ringing in the tower to celebrate his life. Ringing will commence at 10.20 am before the service, and continue once the service has been concluded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Light refreshments will be available after the service in the Church.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anyone who knew Alfie is welcome to come and help celebrate the life of a lovely man who is greatly missed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
