Jereme Darke - update
Quoting from Jereme's practice website:
"Many of you will already be aware of the terrible news regarding Jereme Darke[, the Association Secretary until last November].
"Jereme suffered a severe head injury as a result of a freak accident sustained on farm on Monday 9th January. He was immediately airlifted to Frenchay Hospital Bristol which specialises in neurological cases. He was diagnosed with a fractured skull and a bleed at the rear of the brain as well as severe facial injuries. Surgery was performed in the early hours of Tuesday [10th Jan] morning to remove the blood clot, reduce brain pressure and assess damage."

It is expected that Jereme will discharged from hospital on Wednesday 16th May, such is the progress he has made. He still has a long way to go with his recovery from the brain injury and is not allowed to visit people for a few weeks yet. It is hoped that later in the summer he may be able to come to a ringing competition for a short time, but this is by no means a given.
